WHAT_Joseph was a pioneer of assemblage art, made beautiful sculptures and created some experimental films (that I have yet to see). His wonderful boxes filled with found objects and fragments of ‘once beautiful and precious objects’ juxtaposed in an irrational manner are my biggest reference point for my typography sculpture that i’m working on.
